Untested Levels 2.41 October 2026

Seconds charts, a smooth Bar Replay, and tested levels that stay visible until the next session.

Works on more charts

  • Seconds charts from 1 second up: levels that need more history than the chart loads are hidden, and a small notice says so (switch: Seconds-chart notice)
  • Bar Replay: every step is ready at once, without a brief "Memory limits exceeded"

Better

  • A level that price touched today stays grey until the next session — before, it could disappear in the evening after the index close
  • A partly filled gap keeps its size during the day and shrinks to what is left from the next session

Tickers

  • Tickers that only look like a supported index (for example NASDAQ:NDXT) no longer get that index's levels
  • Generic CFD names such as DE40, US500 or UK100 are only recognised for the brokers on the list; the same names at other brokers are not — see supported tickers

Untested Levels 2.40 October 2026

Untested Levels covers the opens as well as the closes and gaps, with more history and more tickers.

New and extended levels

  • Untested open index — official opening prices of the index that price has not come back to
  • Untested open CFD — now with about three months of history, on every timeframe
  • Gap future — now also on 1-minute index charts and on CFD-future charts
  • A small notice when the futures data is delayed

More tickers

  • TradingView's own index tickers (TVC: DEU40, SPX, NDX, DJI, RUT, UKX, AEX)
  • The US nano futures (NES, NNQ, NDOW, N2K)
  • Specific contract months, such as ESH2027 or FDXMZ2026
  • All tickers: supported tickers

Better

  • The same levels on every timeframe
  • A gap only counts as filled where price really traded; what is left of a gap stays on the chart as one box — gap index
  • Made to run with Basics: what Basics already draws (yesterday's close, today's opens) is hidden in Untested Levels, so no level is drawn twice

After updating: remove the indicator from your chart and add it again. Many settings were added or moved, and TradingView keeps your old settings by position.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get the new version?

TradingView updates a published indicator by itself. After a big update, remove the indicator from your chart and add it again from your favourites, so your settings line up with the new ones.

Why are small fixes not listed?

This page lists what you notice on your chart: new levels, new tickers and changes in how things work. Small fixes and technical improvements happen all the time and are not listed.
